With more than "a ton of sand" to play with, kids enjoy the swings & building castles! Created over 68 years, our sand beach provides a very gradual incline & a safe wading & shallow swimming area that is ideal for youngsters. Natural underwater springs and currents keep our beach water a little cooler on those hot days. The area is bounded by a floating anchored line with raft moored off-shore. There's lots of fun on the floating foam "lily pad"! ~ Shoreline stewardship of flora and fauna is important to us ~ A natural shoreline environment of grass reeds and lily pads keeps us protected from waves & boats on Georgian Bay, filters our water to keep it clean & healthy and welcomes waterfront exploration! |
